I love that dipd not only sell these but they come in every starter kit. They are definitely needed to give your nails that extra smoothness , my new favourite!
These buffer blocks are fantastic BUT my one request is that they have a superfine grit on one side, otherwise I end up in a bit of a situation where I’ve got streaky top coat because there’s lines in my nails from the chunkier grit.

I've done my nails with this kit twice now, I've never done dip powders before. It definitely takes a bit of patience and watching several youtube videos to see how to actually do it in a way that looks smooth and nice. my second attempt was very successful and im super happy with the nails ive created.
one downside during my first attempt: i applied the activator one, filed my nails, then did the second round of activator and waited the recommended time before applying the top coat. halfway through applying the topcoat, the brush started hardening which was a shame as i waited around 5 mins. i could only do one streaky coat of topcoat on all my nails and changed the brush after.
in my second attempt i only did the activator once, then filed my nails, got rid of the excess dust and only then applied the topcoat (2 layers). this saved my topcoat and my nails look very shiny and good.
its trial and error and takes some skill, but the products are good! just be patient :)
Natural, slightly translucent colour great for growing out my nails.
After a couple of goes, getting the hang of doing it, lots more fun than going to the shop to get them done
