Third kit ive bought for a family member. In Love!

I've done my nails with this kit twice now, I've never done dip powders before. It definitely takes a bit of patience and watching several youtube videos to see how to actually do it in a way that looks smooth and nice. my second attempt was very successful and im super happy with the nails ive created.

one downside during my first attempt: i applied the activator one, filed my nails, then did the second round of activator and waited the recommended time before applying the top coat. halfway through applying the topcoat, the brush started hardening which was a shame as i waited around 5 mins. i could only do one streaky coat of topcoat on all my nails and changed the brush after.

in my second attempt i only did the activator once, then filed my nails, got rid of the excess dust and only then applied the topcoat (2 layers). this saved my topcoat and my nails look very shiny and good.

its trial and error and takes some skill, but the products are good! just be patient :)

I was really hoping to like this product, however I was not satisfied. I have been using another brand for over 5 years now and I was unable to purchase their liquids due to being out of stock so I thought I would give DIPD a go and when I recieved my box, one of the liquids had been leaking. The base was very thick and stringy and got contaminated almost instantly, despite brushing nails several times before reapplying, so I had to find spare brushes from other product to use. The glow was not very glossy.
The next time I went to use the liquids (2 days later), the lid of the base was stuck and when I tried to open it, the whole top of the bottle snapped off with the brush still stuck to it.

Love this because my nails have a low profile, so I can build the shape. Was easy enough to apply. Even my short nails look great. Used Baci colour and it is a nice natural semi-sheer. The gloss is impressive and very hard.
